تم تشكيل هذا المشروع المشترك بين الزامل للصناعة وجنرال الكتريك مارس 1997 لتسهيل تصنيع وتسويق GE مكيفات الهواء العلامة التجارية إلى الأسواق الإقليمية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا. مرخص الشرق الأوسط لمكيفات الهواء المحدودة خصيصا لتصنيع مكيفات الغرف (RAC)، ميني سبليت وأنبوبي مكيفات تحت العلامات التجارية GE، هوت بوينت وRCA. اليوم، تتمتع الشركة قاعدة العملاء التي تصل إلى جميع أنحاء المملكة العربية السعودية إلى معظم دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي وإلى الأسواق الأفريقية. في المستهدفة، السوق النامية بسرعة لها، MEAC تسعى باستمرار للحصول على التكنولوجيات الجديدة والجمع بين أنيق، وتصميم متكامل مع الأداء الأمثل والموثوقية، وبذلك قيمة كبيرة لعملائها. وتتخصص الشركة في تصنيع وتسويق الوحدات التي يتم تخصيصها لتلبية احتياجات عملائها في المنطقة لقوية ودائمة، وحدات ذات جودة عالية خاصة وضعت للعمل بثقة في ظل ظروف قاسية في كثير من الأحيان من ظروف الطقس القاسية. مكيفات الزامل، المنتج الرئيسي للأنظمة تكييف الهواء في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، وتجري عمليات التصنيع والخدمات لهذا المشروع المشترك خارج الدولة الشركة من مصنع لتصنيع الفن الموجود في الدمام، المملكة العربية السعودية.

   This joint venture between Zamil Industrial and General Electric was formed in March 1997 to facilitate the manufacturing and marketing of GE brand air conditioners to regional markets in the Middle East and Africa.

Middle East Air Conditioners Co. Ltd. is specifically licensed to manufacture Room Air Conditioners (RAC), Mini-Split and Ducted Split Air Conditioners under the GE, Hotpoint and RCA brands. Today, the company enjoys a customer base that reaches across Saudi Arabia into most of the GCC region and into the African markets.
